We are seeking an experienced, confident Finance Manager to lead and manage the financial operations in our group of five primary schools; Langford Primary, Sulivan Primary, Fulham Primary, Wilberforce Primary and Queen’s Manor.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within a collaborative organisation dedicated to providing an outstanding education and ensuring that every child is given the opportunity to achieve their potential.
Supported by, and working closely with, the Executive Business Manager and Executive Principal, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective management of the finance function, ensuring consistent implementation of policies and procedures.

What You'll Be Doing
- Leading on all aspects of financial management across the five schools.
- Preparing and monitoring annual budgets, forecasts, and monthly management accounts.
- Providing clear financial analysis to school leaders and governors.
- Reviewing monthly payroll in conjunction with the HR manager
- Preparing capital expenditure requests and managing day to day procurement
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, policies, and audit requirements.
- Identifying opportunities for efficiencies, savings, and improved financial performance.
- Supporting strategic planning and long-term financial sustainability.
- Supporting non-finance staff in relation to ordering and other finance related tasks.

Qualifications
Skills & Knowledge
- Ability to build positive working relationships and interact confidently with a range of stakeholders
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to plan and organise a variable and demanding workload to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of finance and procurement principles
- Ability to analyse financial data and explain in simple terms to non-financial stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures
- Ability to effectively train wider staff in relevant finance procedures eg credit cards, purchase orders, etc
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Maintain efficient and organised record keeping systems
- Ability to self-motivate and work as part of a wider cluster team
- Excellent ICT and systems skills
