We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive SEND school in Earlsfield. This rewarding role involves supporting primary and secondary-aged pupils with autism, helping them to access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their individual goals.
The Role:
- Support pupils with autism in both classroom and specialist learning environments.
- Assist with the delivery of tailored learning activities and interventions.
- Promote positive behaviour, communication, and social development.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, parents, and other professionals to ensure pupils receive the support they need.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has a genuine interest in working with children and young people with SEND.
- Is patient, compassionate, and resilient.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience supporting children is desirable but not essential.
- Graduates interested in child development, psychology, education, or SEND are encouraged to apply.
