HGV Class 1 General Haulage - Carlisle
Due to rapid expansion of the business, we are currently recruiting Class 1 General Haulage drivers
This role involves transporting goods to various customer destinations across the UK.
Immediate start for successful candidates!
Shifts available:
- Day shifts: Start times between 05:00 – 07:00 (5 on / 3 off rotation)
- Night shifts: Start times between 16:00 – 20:00 (5 on / 3 off rotation)
Day pay rates:
- Monday to Friday: £16.00 per hour
- Saturday: £19.00 per hour
- Sunday & Bank Holidays: £21.00 per hour
Night pay rates:
- Monday to Friday: £17.50 per hour
- Saturday: £20.50 per hour
- Sunday & Bank Holidays: £22.50 per hour
➡️ Only a 30-minute break deducted per shift!
Responsibilities:
- Delivering a professional and efficient driving service within the General Haulage team, undertaking deliveries and collections of products.
- Loading/Unloading and securing loads.
- Dealing with customers face to face.
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport office team for updates on progress and managing customer’s expectations.
What we are looking for:
- Class 1 experience required.
- In date DIGI and CPC card.
- Enthusiastic and reliable.
- Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
