Reports To: F&B Manager
Overview:
The Food & Beverage (F&B) Supervisor oversees daily operations within the food and beverage department, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service and that all service standards are maintained. This role includes supervising staff, managing inventory, monitoring maintenance of equipment and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Supervision:
- Lead, train, and motivate F&B staff to deliver outstanding service.
- Schedule and coordinate staff assignments to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Guest Service:
- Ensure that all guests receive prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any complaints in a professional manner.
- Monitor service quality and guest satisfaction, implementing improvements as necessary.
Operational Management:
- Assist in the planning and execution of events.
- Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Financial Responsibilities:
- Assist in controlling costs to maximize profitability.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and reporting procedures are followed.
- Analyse sales reports and provide feedback to management on performance trends.
Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure that all health, safety, and sanitation regulations are adhered to.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in all F&B areas.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage or Events industry is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Skills:
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Reasonable strength for the movement of relatively heavy objects (furniture, cases of stock, etc)
Contract Type: 35 hour/week, Flexible
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
