Regional Support Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Regional Support Manager to provide operational leadership and hands-on support across a portfolio of nursing, residential, and dementia care services.
This role will involve supporting Home Managers in the day-to-day running of services, stepping into leadership where required, and ensuring consistently high standards of care, compliance, and performance across all homes.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving quality improvement, supporting regulatory compliance, and ensuring homes deliver safe, person-centred care in line with best practice and organisational expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership and support to multiple care homes
- Step in to support or deputise for Home Managers when required
- Ensure high standards of care delivery across nursing, residential, and dementia services
- Support homes in meeting CQC or relevant regulatory compliance standards
- Monitor and drive performance against key KPIs and quality indicators
- Support the implementation and review of action plans and improvement strategies
- Assist with business continuity planning and operational risk management
- Support financial oversight including budget monitoring and reporting
- Work closely with Home Managers to develop strong, well-led teams
- Promote a culture of dignity, respect, independence, and person-centred care
- Ensure effective communication across teams and stakeholders
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Home Manager or Regional/Area Manager within elderly care
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory frameworks and care legislation
- Registered Nurse qualification (essential) with dementia care experience
- Leadership or management qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Strong track record of delivering against KPIs and service objectives
- Experience in financial management and budget monitoring
- Ability to implement and drive improvement action plans
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
- Current NMC registration (if applicable)
- Right to work in the UK
