Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled HGV Mobile Mechanic to join our growing team. The successful candidate will primarily work on HGV vehicles, with occasional involvement in plant machinery when required. Attending customers yards for routine checks, servicing and repairs plus attended breakdowns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fault finding, diagnostics, inspections, and MOT preparation on HGV vehicles.
- Working independently and managing your workload efficiently.
- Maintaining excellent communication with management and customers.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in vehicle mechanics (essential).
- Class 1 HGV driving license (desirable).
- Proven experience in the HGV industry, with strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills.
- Own tools required; special tools will be provided.
- Must be willing to work on an on-call rota, including weekends.
Additional Details:
- Normal Hours: 47.5 hours per week.
- Overtime: Plenty of opportunities available.
- Salary: Competitive rates of pay, negotiable based on experience.
