What You’ll Be Doing
As Nursery Manager, you will:
Lead the nursery’s day-to-day operations with professionalism, confidence, and a child-centred approach
Inspire and support staff to deliver high standards of care and early education
Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and the wider community
Oversee compliance with Care Inspectorate and health & safety regulations
Manage nursery finances, resources, rotas, records, and staff development
Create a warm, inclusive culture where everyone feels welcomed and valued
What We’re Looking For
- A recognised qualification in Early Learning and Childcare (SCQF Level 9 or above preferred)
- SSSC registration or eligibility to register PVG Scheme membership (or willingness to join)
- Proven experience in a nursery management or deputy management role Excellent knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence, Realising the Ambition, and Pre-Birth to Three
- Strong communication, leadership, organisational, and people skills A calm, solution-focused approach with a genuine passion for making a difference
