SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School | Brent | Immediate and September Starts

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Brent for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.
The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. You may provide one-to-one support or work with small groups of children with a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with SEN both inside and outside the classroom
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging learning activities
- Encouraging positive behaviour and social development
- Helping to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
- Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN (preferred but not essential)
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or SEN support are advantageous
