Dental Artistry is a well-established and highly respected private specialist referral practice located in the heart of Hornsey High Street. We provide specialist care in Endodontics, Periodontics, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, and Implant Dentistry.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional GDC-registered Dental Nurse who enjoys both clinical nursing and patient-facing administrative responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated dental professional looking to work in a specialist environment while developing their skills in both nursing and reception.
The Role
This position is primarily a Dental Nursing role, supporting our specialist clinicians and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. In addition, you will assist with reception and administrative duties to help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
This varied role is ideal for someone who enjoys both chairside nursing and interacting with patients at reception.
Key ResponsibilitiesDental Nursing
- Assist specialist clinicians during a range of advanced dental procedures
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and equipment
- Ensure compliance with cross-infection and decontamination protocols
- Maintain accurate clinical records
- Deliver outstanding patient care and support throughout treatment
Reception & Administration
- Welcome patients in a warm and professional manner
- Manage appointments and clinician diaries
- Handle patient enquiries by telephone, email, and in person
- Maintain patient records using SOE dental software
- Support the smooth operation of the reception area and daily administration
What We're Looking ForEssential Requirements
- GDC-registered Dental Nurse
- Previous dental nursing experience
- Confident assisting specialist clinicians
- Experience using SOE dental software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and friendly manner
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- Previous dental reception experience
- Experience working in a private dental practice
- Knowledge of specialist dental treatments
