CACHE Level 3 Nursery Nurse – Brent

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and experienced CACHE Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Brent, working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This role involves supporting young children’s development, including those with SEN and additional needs, through engaging, play-based and sensory learning activities.
The Role:
- Support children within the EYFS setting in a mainstream primary school
- Provide 1:1 support for children with SEN or additional needs
- Deliver sensory play-based activities to promote learning, development and emotional regulation
- Assist with behaviour management and encourage positive social interaction
- Support children’s communication, language, and early literacy/numeracy skills
- Work closely with the class teacher and EYFS team to implement learning plans
- Observe, monitor and record children’s progress
- Support personal care needs where required (e.g. toileting, feeding, hygiene routines)
- Promote independence, confidence and social development in a safe, nurturing classroom environment
What We’re Looking For:
- CACHE Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (essential)
- Previous experience working in an Early Years setting within a mainstream primary school or nursery is essential
- Experience supporting children with SEN or additional needs
- A patient, caring and nurturing approach
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Ability to deliver engaging play-based and sensory learning activities
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Pay: £95.00-£110.00 per day
