Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing business, is seeking a proactive and detail-focused Quality Assurance & Quality Control Inspector to support operations across three production lines. This role is integral to maintaining product quality, improving processes, and ensuring a safe working environment.
You will take ownership of quality inspections, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives while working closely with production and operations teams.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections on finished goods and work-in-progress
- Identify defects, non-conformance, and reject unsuitable products
- Record findings accurately and maintain documentation
- Investigate issues and support root cause analysis
- Work collaboratively to implement corrective actions
- Monitor production standards and reduce waste
- Carry out audits and ensure compliance with procedures
- Promote a strong quality culture
Candidate requirements:
- Experience in QA, QC, or manufacturing environments
- Strong attention to detail and decision-making confidence
- Effective problem-solving and analytical ability
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Organised with accurate record-keeping
- Awareness of health and safety in manufacturing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Hands-on and proactive approach
