We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to join a well-established precision engineering company based in Southend-on-Sea. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist looking to work with high-precision components in a modern manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating 3 and 4 axis CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls
- Making programme amendments where required
- Manufacturing high-precision components to tight tolerances
- Machining a variety of materials including tufnol, titaniums, and steels
- Producing components such as bushes, bolts, and other precision-engineered parts
- Ensuring all work is completed to high quality standards
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience setting CNC milling machines with Fanuc controls
- Experience using both 3 and 4 axis mills
- Ability to make programme amendments independently
- Strong background machining high-precision components
- Experience working to tight tolerances with a range of materials
Desirable:
- Offline or online programming experience (not essential)
