- 3:30pm to 6:00pm
Key Responsibilities
Daily Cleaning Duties
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal areas.
- Dust and wipe desks, tables, furniture, and other surfaces.
- Clean and sanitise toilets, washrooms, and changing facilities.
- Empty bins and replace liners.
- Replenish soap, toilet paper, and other consumables where required.
- Clean internal glass, doors, and touchpoints.
- Remove marks from walls, doors, and surfaces.
- Ensure all allocated areas are left clean, tidy, and secure.
Person Specification
Essential
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Desirable
- Previous cleaning experience within a school, education, healthcare, or commercial environment.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
- Experience using commercial cleaning equipment.
- Safeguarding
As this role is based within a school environment, safeguarding children is of paramount importance.
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Undergo an enhanced DBS check.
- Comply with all school safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Maintain professional conduct at all times whilst on school premises.
