What You Need to Succeed
We are seeking to appoint a teacher of English to join an established and effective team of specialists. This will be a stimulating and rewarding post for an enthusiastic teacher to join a team of 9 teachers.
The department has detailed, well-resourced schemes of work for every key stage that allow teachers to teach well planned and structured lessons. Teachers regularly share ideas and work collaboratively to develop and improve these schemes of work and lessons to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
The successful applicant will be keen to immerse themselves in this effective team, contributing to the future development of the department. They will be required to teach English across key stages 3 and 4 and the ability range. There is also the possibility of KS5 teaching for suitably qualified candidates. As a Gold Unicef Rights Respecting school, a desire to build strong, effective relationships with students and staff to foster a cohesive, inclusive, and positive school environment is also sought.
