Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional part-time Front of House Staff member to join our small but dedicated team. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in catering, serving, or food preparation is advantageous, along with a strong understanding of food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and drinks in a courteous and timely manner
- Assist with drink preparation and presentation as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the FOH area
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards
- Communicate and collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or hospitality environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, allergy awareness, and best practices
- Must be competent with general arithmetic
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests
- Experience in serving or food preparation will be highly regarded
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
