Key Responsibilities:
- Bakery Production Management
- Oversee the daily production of all bakery items, ensuring products meet brand standards in taste, quality, and presentation.
- Manage baking schedules to ensure product availability throughout the day.
- Monitor ingredient preparation, baking processes, and product freshness. Ensure consistency in recipes, portioning, and baking procedures.
- Work closely with the Store Manager to ensure smooth overall store operations.
- Support product launches and seasonal menu updates.
- Ensure bakery equipment is properly maintained and used safely.
- Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and supervise the bakery team to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Provide coaching and guidance to improve team skills and performance.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new bakery staff.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional working environment.
- Food Safety & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with UK food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
- Implement and maintain HACCP procedures and food safety documentation.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure cleanliness and proper equipment use.
- Ensure all products are prepared, stored, and handled according to safety guidelines.
- Inventory & Cost Control
- Manage bakery ingredient inventory and stock levels.
- Coordinate ordering of raw materials and supplies.
- Reduce waste through effective production planning and stock management.
- Support cost control and maintain efficient use of ingredients.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Bakery Supervisor / Bakery Manager / Pastry Chef or similar role.
- Experience in high-volume bakery or food service environments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and production processes.
- Familiarity with UK food safety regulations and HACCP standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: £2,900.00-£3,000.00 per month
