As Managing Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a pivotal leadership role overseeing commercial activity across multiple projects within the West region. You won’t be tied to a single project—instead, you’ll operate at a regional level, ensuring consistency, performance, and value across a diverse portfolio of programmes.
This role is critical to our success, helping us meet regulatory commitments while driving efficiencies, innovation, and cost savings across our operations.
What You’ll Be Doing

Leading and mentoring a team of 6–7 Quantity Surveyors, providing guidance, support, and professional development

Driving commercial strategy and performance, with a clear focus on delivering measurable savings

Ensuring robust contract management, with the right agreements in place to support delivery

Overseeing commercial delivery across multiple projects and workstreams within the West region

Supporting and influencing commercial leads and wider stakeholders

Bringing insight into how works are delivered under utilities frameworks (e.g. MPA environments)

Ensuring alignment with regulatory and funding frameworks, including innovation and efficiency drivers

Embedding best practice across commercial processes, governance, and reporting
