Salary: £34,000 – £38,000 (negotiable based on experience)
Now Education is working in partnership with a welcoming two-form entry Church of England primary school in the BD9 area to recruit an experienced and motivated School Business Manager to join their leadership team from September 2026.
This is an exciting guaranteed temp-to-perm opportunity for a highly organised and proactive professional who can support the strategic and operational management of the school.
Business Manager Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective running of the school’s business functions, including:
- Financial management and budgeting
- HR and personnel administration
- Health & safety and site management oversight
- Procurement and contract management
- Compliance and operational leadership
- Supporting the Headteacher and Governors with strategic planning
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience working in a school business or finance role
- Demonstrate strong organisational and leadership skills
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Be confident managing budgets and financial systems
- Understand safeguarding and school compliance requirements
- Be committed to supporting the ethos and values of a Church of England school
