Quality Manager – Supported Living Services

Salary: £28-30k per annum + mileage allowance

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Quality Manager to join our growing supported living organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping high-quality services that enable people to live independently, achieve their goals, and lead fulfilling lives.
You will work across our supported living services, helping teams to achieve excellence through robust quality assurance, governance, compliance, and continuous improvement.

We provide person-centred supported living services for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and complex support requirements. Our focus is on enabling people to live as independently as possible while receiving the right support to achieve meaningful outcomes.

The Role
This is far more than a compliance role. We are looking for someone who can build positive relationships, inspire improvement, identify opportunities, and help services achieve their full potential.
You will work closely with operational managers to:
- Drive continuous improvement across all services.
- Promote a positive culture of quality and learning.
- Identify risks and support proactive solutions.
- Monitor compliance and governance systems.
- Ensure lessons are learned and improvements are sustained.
- Support managers to deliver outstanding, person-centred services.
What You'll Be Doing
- Completing quality audits and service visits.
- Reviewing incidents, accidents, complaints, safeguarding concerns, and trends.
- Producing clear reports, action plans, and quality dashboards.
- Supporting managers to implement improvements and monitor progress.
- Identifying good practice and sharing learning across services.
- Preparing services for inspections and external reviews.
- Monitoring compliance with legislation, policies, and best practice.
- Supporting investigations where required.
- Delivering guidance and coaching to managers and teams.
- Working with senior leaders to shape organisational quality strategy.
About You
You are someone who:

✔ Has experience in quality assurance, governance, compliance, or operational management within social care.
✔ Understands supported living services and regulatory requirements.
✔ Can analyse information and identify solutions.
✔ Builds strong relationships and influences positive change.
✔ Is confident in challenging poor practice constructively.
✔ Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
✔ Enjoys working collaboratively and supporting others to succeed.
Essential Requirements
- Experience of quality assurance, auditing, governance, or service improvement.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong report writing and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between services.
Desirable
- Experience within health and social care.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care.
- Experience supporting services through inspections.
- Experience of quality improvement frameworks and performance reporting.
