Mobile Electrical Engineer | £50,000 | London & Surrounding Areas
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer to join an established Building Services team working across commercial sites in London and the surrounding areas.

The Role
You will be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and repair works across a portfolio of commercial buildings.
This is a mobile role covering multiple customer sites, ensuring high standards of service delivery and strong client relationships at all times.
Key Details
- Salary: £45,000 – £50,000
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Location: London & surrounding areas
- Mobile role (no personal use of van)
- On-call rota: 1 in 4
- Standby allowance: £100
- Overtime: Regularly available (paid separately)
- 23 days holiday + bank holidays
- Company van & fuel card provided
Responsibilities
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) across commercial sites
- Reactive maintenance and fault finding on electrical systems
- Testing, inspection, and certification where required
- Electrical repairs and small installations
- Working across HVAC, power, lighting, and building services systems
- Producing accurate reports and documentation
- Ensuring compliance with all health & safety procedures
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers where required
- Building strong relationships with clients on site
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in Building Services / FM
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Confident working in a client-facing role
Desirable Experience
- HNC/HND in Electrical or Building Services
- Experience with BMS/controls systems
- Multi-skilled M&E building services experience
