Zest Education is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and inclusive one-form entry primary school in Fulham in the recruitment of a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Key Stage 1 pupil with Autism.

What the Role Involves:
- Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a Key Stage 1 pupil with Autism.
- Supporting the child's learning, communication, social interaction and emotional development throughout the school day.
- Implementing strategies and interventions recommended by the school's SEND team and external professionals.
- Helping the pupil access the curriculum and participate fully in classroom activities.
- Supporting transitions, routines and sensory needs where required.
- Building a positive and trusting relationship with the child to promote confidence and independence.
- Working closely with the Class Teacher, SENCO and parents to ensure consistent support.

What We're Looking For:
- Experience supporting children with Autism, SEND or additional needs is desirable.
- Candidates with transferable experience from care, youth work, coaching, psychology or similar backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- A patient, calm and compassionate approach.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- Commitment to helping a child develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.
