We are seeking an experienced Early Years Setting Manager to lead our new specialist provision for young children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) or those undergoing assessments. Responsibilities
- Leading the daily operation of a specialist setting focused on children with SEND
- Managing and inspiring a team of SEN Early Years Support Staff to deliver outstanding care and learning
- Working closely with our Early Years Teacher to shape and deliver inclusive, tailored, learning experiences
- Taking a central role in safeguarding, risk assessment, and ensuring children's welfare at all times
- Contributing to and leading on the EHCP annual review process and supporting families throughout
- Building strong, positive relationships with families and multi-agency professionals
Skills
- A Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
- Proven experience managing or leading an early years setting
- A solid understanding of the EHCP process and experience working with children with SEND
- A proactive child-centred approach to leadership and safeguarding
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience in supporting and developing a team
- Desirable: designated Safeguarding Lead Training, or additional SEND training(e.g., PECS, Makaton, sensory approaches)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£37,465.00 per year
