The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas, ensuring all dishes meet our standards of excellence. Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Cook pizzas to perfection using appropriate methods and equipment
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed during food preparation and service
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and work surfaces
- Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as required
- Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment to management
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service and efficient kitchen operations
- Adhere to health and safety policies at all times during shifts
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Experience with meal preparation and culinary techniques specific to pizza making is desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
- Previous restaurant experience or serving experience is advantageous but not essential
