A local and greatly established restaurant in the heart of Broadway Market is in search of an ambitious Experienced Pizza Chef who has an experience in traditional cuisine to join our team to help us drive forward our authentic and popular local Italian Restaurant.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional food experiences. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily operations, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety are maintained. Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth workflow
- Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, including chefs and kitchen assistants, to maintain high performance standards
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met
- Coordinate food production activities to meet service times and customer expectations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies
- Serve as a role model in demonstrating professional cooking techniques and hospitality practices
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment
- Extensive background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead and inspire staff effectively
- Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Experience working in restaurant or hospitality settings with a focus on high-quality service delivery
