Fire & Security Service Engineer – Frimley / Wexham / South East
£36,000 – £45,000 basic + overtime, travel time and benefits
Lantern Fire & Security Ltd is continuing to grow, and we are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join our team covering the Frimley / Wexham area and surrounding South East region.
This is a great opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer who enjoys varied service and fault-finding work across fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems.
We look after a wide range of commercial clients, including healthcare, local authority, education, commercial and industrial sites. The work is varied, the team is supportive, and we are looking for someone who takes pride in doing a proper job.
The role
You will be carrying out service, maintenance and fault-finding on fire and security systems across commercial sites. The role will include working on systems such as Gent, Advanced, Kentec, Protec, Texecom, Galaxy and other leading manufacturers.
This role would suit someone based around Frimley, Camberley, Wexham, Slough, Bracknell, Reading, Farnborough, Aldershot, Wokingham or the surrounding M3 / M4 corridor.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone with:
Fire alarm service and fault-finding experience
Working knowledge of intruder, CCTV and access control systems
A full UK driving licence
A professional attitude with good customer service skills
The ability to work independently and manage your own jobs
Good attention to detail when completing reports and paperwork
Experience on Gent systems would be a real advantage, but it is not essential. We are happy to support and further train the right person.

£36,000 – £45,000 basic salary, depending on experience
Overtime paid at 1.5x, including travel time
