Profession: Elderly Befriender Care Assistant
Pay: £15 per hour (£16.81 earned wage including holiday pay) with working availability during the week and alternate weekends

With clients needing a mixture of morning, afternoon and evening support. We currently need Elderly Befriender with availability to support our clients between 7am and 10pm, the more availability you have, the more client visits we are able to allocate to you. We accept availability of 7am – 2pm, 7am – 6pm, 9pm – 10pm, 2pm – 10pm, 6pm – 10pm & 7am – 10pm (preferred)
All our Elderly Befrienders work alternate weekends to ensure continuity of care to our clients and typically work between 10-35 hours per week depending on your requirements.
We're looking for candidates who may already have experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Elderly Befriender or in Domiciliary Care.
We would also love to hear from anyone who has experience caring for loved ones or been a volunteer. We would encourage you to apply as a Elderly Befriender Care Assistant with Home Instead as full training and support will be given.

Being a Care Professional means you need to be adaptable, personable but ultimately put others first. Your role may include:·
- Companionship
- Helping with some possible personal care
- Helping with mobility around the home
- Overseeing medication and providing medical support
- Helping with housework such as cleaning and vacuuming
- Preparing and cooking meals
- Running errands such as food shopping or picking up prescriptions
Care Professionals MUST have a Valid UK Driving Licence (with access to a vehicle for work purposes) and have the Right to work in the UK.
