Crescent Dental Surgery in the heart of St Annes is looking for a Qualified Dental Nurse to join our amazing team.
As a Qualified Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to patients. You will assist the dentist during procedures, prepare instruments and maintain accurate records. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for this role. Additionally, knowledge of dental terminology and procedures and the ability to work well in a team environment are important. If you are organized, have excellent interpersonal skills, and are passionate about dental care, we would love to have you join our team as a Qualified Dental Nurse.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Schedule and confirm dental appointments
- Manage inventory of dental supplies
- Reception cover when required
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Organizational skills to manage patient records and inventory
Alongside clinical duties the successful candidate will support the practice with compliance processes including assisting with audits and maintaining CQC standards and policies.
Working hours will be approximately 16 hours per week, to be discussed at interview.
