Duties
- Provide high-quality childcare and support children’s developmental needs
- Plan and implement engaging activities suitable for various age groups
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop educational programmes
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs
- Assist with daily administrative tasks as required
- Support children's social, emotional, and behavioural development through positive interaction
- Uphold nursery policies and procedures in line with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Experience in nursery or early childhood education preferred
- Knowledge of childcare practices and child development principles
- Strong management and leadership skills to oversee daily operations
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively with children, demonstrating patience and empathy
- Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare (desirable)
- Previous experience working with children is advantageous
- Valid driving licence is ESSENTIAL for transportation duties
- A proactive attitude with organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
