Grove Place is a vibrant and magical retirement community. Residents living in the village are over 60 years old. Currently the care department provides care services for 21 residents with various needs and dependencies.
We are looking to expand our team with team members who are passionate about working in the care environment. The duties will include:
- Providing high quality care service (personal care)
- Assistance with attending appointments.
- Preparation of meals
- Support with medication
- Companion visits
Free DBS check and training . Work is based on a shift pattern allocated on the rota prepared in advance: Day shifts are b/n the hours of 8:00-20:00 . Night shifts are 12 hours . We are domiciliary care agency, and the shifts vary depending on staff availability / staff on AL/ . However, we produce rota 3-4 weeks in advance.
The basic pay for day shift is above minimum wage; £0.80 / h enhancement at the weekend and + £1.00 /h for a night shift . The basic rate applies to candidates with level 2 NVQ or care certificate .
