About the Role
We are recruiting Children’s Residential Support Workers to support young people within our Good and Outstanding Ofsted-rated children’s homes. You will help provide a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where children can develop, feel valued, and achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide high-quality day-to-day care and emotional support
· Build positive, trusting relationships and act as a consistent role model
· Support children with daily routines, education, appointments, and activities
· Implement individual care plans and behaviour support strategies
· Maintain a safe, structured, and homely environment
· Complete accurate daily records, reports, and incident logs
· Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals
· Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and equality at all times
About You
· Passionate about improving the lives of children and young people
· Patient, empathetic, resilient, and emotionally intelligent
· Strong communication and teamwork skills
· Calm and professional when managing challenging situations
· Flexible to work shifts, including sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays
Requirements
✅ Full UK driving licence (essential)
✅ Right to work in the UK
✅ Enhanced DBS
✅ Flexible to work shifts, including sleep-ins
Experience and a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare are desirable but not essential.
