Construction Operatives – Defence & Security Projects
We are recruiting 1–3 Multi‑Skilled Construction Operatives to join a specialist team delivering secure Defence and Security projects across the UK and overseas.
These are not standard construction roles. You will be part of a small, high‑trust team operating in controlled, high‑security environments where professionalism, discretion and reliability are critical. You will be one of a small number of trusted operatives, not a number on a spreadsheet.
Founded and led by a former military professional, the business is built around high standards, trust and long‑term capability. We are looking for people who take pride in their work, operate well under pressure and are comfortable working within structured, disciplined environments.
The Roles
Working as part of a growing team, you will support delivery across a range of Defence‑related projects, often in sensitive locations. Typical work includes but is not limited to:
- Property and construction works within secure environments.
- Supporting specialist installations and project delivery teams.
- Working to strict site, security and compliance procedures.
- Operating independently or within small, high‑trust teams.
Requirements
- Eligible for SC clearance (DV advantageous) due to the nature of the client base.
- Background in construction or property services (electrical bias preferred, e.g. electrician), though wider trade/property experience is also welcome.
- Comfortable with frequent travel, including overseas work and periods away from home.
- High level of personal reliability, professionalism and discretion.
- Able to work in structured environments with clear standards and expectations.
- Ideally based within roughly an hour of Aldershot; strong UK‑wide candidates will still be considered.

Pay and engagement options
We offer both permanent employment and CIS/subcontract engagement for these roles, and treat both routes as equally important parts of the team. Pay is competitive for the specialist Defence/Security environment, typically:
- Permanent: approximately £42,000–£55,000 per year, depending on experience, responsibilities and travel.
- CIS/subcontract: from £260–£320/day, depending on trade background, project location and clearance level.
