Location: Shifts across Whitchurch and the wider location
About the Role
- Supporting individuals in Care Home settings or Supported Living
- Providing personal care (assisting with washing dressing and personal hygiene)
- Assisting with mobility and safe moving & handling
- Promoting daily living skills, wellbeing and independence
- Supporting emotional, physical and social wellbeing
- Working proactively within a care team
- Assisting at mealtimes, including feeding and ensuring hydration
- Monitoring and accurately documenting any changes in a patient's health or wellbeing
About You:
- Minimum 6 months’ full-time experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker (12 months part time)
- Reliable, compassionate and confident working alone or in a team
- Moving and Handling experience
- A caring and professional attitude with a passion for supporting vulnerable people
- Excellent communication skills, speaking to individuals in a clear, respectful and empathetic way
- Ability to travel to rural locations
- Committed to safeguarding individuals’ welfare and always uphold the highest standards of safety, dignity, and professional conduct
