We're looking for an experienced Front of House / Restaurant Team Lead to join an award-winning Country Inn, celebrated for its exceptional hospitality, outstanding food and drink, and welcoming atmosphere. From greeting diners with a warm smile to helping guests settle into the stunning rooms, you'll play a key role in making the inn the special place it is known to be.
This role will support the Front of House Manager and supervise in their absence.
What You'll Be Doing
Creating Great First Impressions
- Welcoming diners and hotel guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Seating guests and ensuring they feel relaxed and looked after from the moment they arrive.
Delivering Exceptional Service
- Taking food and drink orders with confidence and enthusiasm.
- Serving locally brewed ales, carefully selected wines, and delicious dishes.
- Providing attentive, knowledgeable service while allowing guests to enjoy their experience uninterrupted.
Looking After Overnight Guests
- Assisting with accommodation bookings and guest enquiries.
- Checking in guests and helping them make the most of their stay.
Helping Create a wonderful Atmosphere
- Maintaining a cosy, vibrant environment that keeps guests coming back.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth service and exceptional standards throughout the day.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is passionate about hospitality and understands what exceptional guest service looks like.
Essential Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a full-time Front of House hospitality role within a quality food-led pub, Inn, restaurant, hotel, or similar operation.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- A positive, professional, and proactive approach.
- Strong team-working skills and a willingness to support colleagues when needed.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak trading periods.
