Initial salary between £24414 and £26283 per annum (plus cost of living)
Permanent - 37 hours on a 4 on 4 off shift rota based in King’s Lynn / Downham areas
Permanent - 37 hours Monday - Friday based in Hunstanton area
Seasonal to Nov - 37 hours (varied shift patterns) - based in Hunstanton area
We have opportunities for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our Public Open Space Team in either permanent or seasonal roles. If you are self-motivated, take pride in achieving high standards of work, and are keen to help maintain outdoor public spaces for our community and visitors, we would love to hear from you.
This role involves delivering a full range of street cleansing and ground maintenance services, including litter picking, public convenience cleansing, clearing fly tipping and collecting dog waste bins, general ground maintenance, grass cutting and strimming. The work is practical and physically demanding, carried out outdoors in all weather conditions, either individually or as part of a team.
You will act as an ambassador for the Council, so a confident and professional approach when dealing with the public is essential. You must be able to work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations and hold a full driving licence. Weekend and bank holiday working will be required to meet service needs and support special events.
