We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner Level 3 to join our childcare team. Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and deliver engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children in accordance with early years frameworks.
- Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment that promotes children's well-being and learning.
- Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through personalised care and guidance.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records for planning future activities.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure consistent support for each child's needs.
- Lead by example in demonstrating positive behaviour management and excellent communication skills.
- Assist with daily routines such as mealtimes, nappy changing, and outdoor play sessions.
- Uphold health and safety policies at all times, including safeguarding procedures.
- Contribute to the organisation of nursery events and activities that promote community engagement.
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare recognised by relevant authorities.
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to guide junior staff members effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and childcare legislation.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating initiative and organisational skills.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for roles involving transportation or outreach activities.
