Tudor Court is a well established 28 bedded home in the centre of Paignton, and we require dedicated and conscientious day care assistants to join our friendly team on a part time basis to join our expanding team.
We’re seeking caring and compassionate people who enjoy interacting and communicating with the elderly and assisting them with their daily living activities, including personal care to live a fulfilled life in a person centred way, whilst ensuring their comfort and safety.
Candidates must be warm and friendly, with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a genuine passion for providing our residents with high quality care and support.
The successful candidates will be self-motivated, well-organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team, and be able to document care provided and report and changes in residents conditions promptly.
Proven experience in working with the elderly, in either a paid or voluntary capacity, is desirable however not essential as full training will be given to those who are looking to start a new and exciting career in social care.
We have partnership with an apprenticeship company and staff will be given the opportunity to complete health and social care qualifications levels 2 and 3 diploma.
Shifts patterns are between 07.00-22.00
Flexibility is required for this role and it will involve weekend working on a rotational basis.
