Job Responsibilities
- Assemble wooden bed frames and divan structures to specification.
- Measure, cut, and fit timber components accurately using hand and power tools.
- Read and follow production drawings, templates, and work instructions.
- Use nail guns, saws, drills, and other framing tools safely and effectively.
- Work efficiently within a production line environment, meeting set targets.
- Lift, move, and position heavy wooden parts safely.
- Check completed frames for sturdiness, alignment, and quality before passing to upholstery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bed, furniture, or timber frame manufacturing (essential).
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, air guns, and woodworking machinery.
- Understanding of production processes and quality standards.
- Ability to measure accurately and work to precise tolerances.
- Physically fit and capable of handling heavy materials and repetitive tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good housekeeping and attention to detail.
