Summary
We are seeking a Senior Night Care Assistant to join our team at Greta Cottage Limited. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our residents' daily needs and enhancing their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing and dressing.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents.
- Document care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to staff.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.
- Medication administration
- Health screening
- Care planning
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or a similar role is essential.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required.
- Basic IT skills.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Level 3 diploma or equivalent in Adult social care
