About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and professional Waste Collection Driver to join our growing operations team in London.
This is a field-based driving role operating a 3.5T waste collection vehicle, completing scheduled commercial routes and representing the company at customer sites.
We are looking for individuals who take pride in punctuality, safe driving, and consistent performance. This role is suited to drivers who want stable ongoing work on a flexible zero-hours basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate a 3.5T waste collection vehicle across London and surrounding areas
* Complete daily commercial waste collection routes safely and efficiently
* Carry out vehicle checks before and after shifts
* Ensure full compliance with UK road safety and company procedures
* Maintain a clean, professional, and roadworthy vehicle at all times
* Communicate professionally with customers on site
* Report defects, delays, or issues promptly
* Complete assigned routes to a high operational standard
Requirements
Essential
* Full UK Driving Licence (Category B)
* Proven reliability and strong attendance record
* Confident and safe van driving experience
* Strong awareness of road safety and compliance
* Ability to work independently and follow instructions
* Professional attitude and good communication skills
* Right to work in the UK
Desirable
* Previous experience in multi-drop, logistics, courier, or commercial driving
* Experience working in waste collection or service-based driving roles
* Familiarity with London routes and traffic conditions
