Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Kitchen Chef to work within our kitchen. The ideal candidate will possess some leadership skills, some kitchen experience, and a understanding of food safety standards. This role involves food preparation, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Kitchen Chef will play a pivotal role in maintaining the organisation’s reputation for excellence in culinary services and delivering food at an appropriate pace.
Duties
- Supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service.
- Oversee aspects of food preparation, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishes.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Develop and implement innovative menus and create new dishes,
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Monitor food presentation and ensure dishes are served promptly and attractively.
- Assist in managing customer feedback to improve overall dining experience.
- Prepare various menu meals
Requirements
- Some experience in preparing meals such as Full English, Poached eggs, egg Benedict, egg Royale etc
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques across various cuisines.
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable.
- Good communication skills, with an emphasis on teamwork and customer service excellence.
- A passion for culinary arts and continuous professional development in hospitality practices.

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
