Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to specified recipes and standards
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of food production
- Oversee food safety practices, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the kitchen
- Manage food inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Assist in menu planning and development to meet customer preferences and seasonal availability
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their skills and knowledge
- Ensure all food presentation meets quality standards before serving
- Collaborate with front-of-house team to deliver excellent customer service during service hours
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Supervising experience is highly desirable, demonstrating leadership capabilities
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety regulations
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of culinary techniques, food presentation, and menu development
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in team management and staff training is advantageous
- A passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences and a commitment to high standards of hygiene and safety

Pay: £12.21-£12.28 per hour
