Responsibilities:Door to Door collections driver 45 hours per week
This vacancy requires early starts 5-5:30 am
We collect items such as clothes, shoes, books, DVDs, bric-a-brac, towels, small electronics, crockery and cutlery from households
Items are then sorted at our warehouse and shipped to countries that need them the most.
Driving
Driving safely follow the route given to you making your stops and then returning to the warehouse.
Collections
Make contact with the customer if you need to in order to complete the collection.
Where possible check that the items you are collecting are items we do collect and that they are not broken.
Unloading
After returning to the warehouse you will unload your van
Customer Service
Be friendly and polite to all customers.
· You will be given full on the job training.
· You will be given your route late afternoons for the following day; this will detail your stops.
· During your day you will use our app to log the details of each collection.
Required Attributes and Skills:
· UK or EU Driving Licence
· Maximum 3 points
· Good communication skills
· Good team player
· Ability to work on your own initiative
· Good command of the English Language
· Reasonable physical well-being
· Ability to use App based operating systems
· Be able to use Google maps to find addresses
Live within 8 miles of WF4 5EB
Experience:
Delivery/collection driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
Driving: 3 years (required)
Must have at least 3 years experience driving a 3.5 t vehicle
