Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in Leadership and Hospitality, with a passion for overseeing bar operations. As the Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the bar staff, managing inventory, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a high standard of service.
Duties:
- Serve alcohol and operate the till system efficiently.
- Take precise orders from customers and enter them accurately into the system.
- Coordinate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform general cleaning tasks behind the bar and restock fridges and snack shelves.
- Good cellar knowledge of changing Kegs , Casks and gas.
- Manage your Team effectively and designate job roles for shift
- Manage table bookings and update the booking diary accordingly.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, work independently, and think proactively.
- Possess a good knowledge of drinks selection to provide recommendations to customers.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Prepare tills and bar for opening and handle cash transactions at the end of each shift.
- Adhere to the company's dress code guidelines.
Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities.
- Experience in supervising a team in a hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food production, culinary skills, and food preparation.
- Excellent communication skills with both customers and colleagues.
- Ability to manage table bookings efficiently.
- Flexibility to cover shifts for sickness or holidays.
