We require a kind and patient female carer to assist an Autistic female within the Bolton area.
This role is for 6 hours a week and will be 3 hours a day over 2 days during the week. These days can be flexible to suit the carer and will be discussed with the employer. The hours will be during school hours.
Main duties:
· To support with light housework
· To support with paperwork and attend appointments. Applicant must have English as their first language and be able to read and comprehend English to help the client understand what is being said to her during these appointments
· To support with shopping and accessing the community
· To support with socialisation
Desired skills and attributes:
· A patient and understanding personality
· Must be female due to the nature of the role
· Must have previous experience and awareness of Autism and ‘meltdowns’
· Needs a full driving licence and access to a vehicle. Business insurance will be needed.
An enhanced DBS check can be completed and paid for by the employer.
