Mobile Car Park Warden - Norwich - Part time

As a Mobile Car Park Warden, you'll patrol a range of private car parks across Norwich, helping ensure parking spaces remain available for residents, customers and visitors who need them. If you are good at liaising with the public, have worked to targets, have been doing driving jobs, security or patrol work and can stay calm when needed, then this could be for you.
This role is based in Norwich and we can only accept applications from postcodes NR1 - NR8
£10,574.72 Basic Salary, pro rata + Performance Bonus + £500 Welcome Bonus
16 hours per week
What you'll do
Your role will involve driving between car parks (up to 20 per day) and actively patrolling each site, monitoring compliance with site rules and issuing Parking Charge Notices where appropriate.

While enforcement is an important part of the role, the wider purpose is ensuring parking remains fair, safe and accessible for those who need it. Whether that's keeping disabled bays available for those who need them, helping parents access family spaces, or ensuring customer parking isn't misused, your work helps people go about their day with fewer frustrations.
No previous parking enforcement experience is required. Full training, equipment and ongoing support will be provided from day one.
What You'll Earn

£10,574.72 basic salary (Equivalent to £12.71 per hour)

Performance bonus opportunities from £200 to £2,000 per month

£500 welcome bonus during your first six months

Mileage paid for business travel (0.25p per mile)

Travelling between sites across the Norwich postcode area

Patrolling private car parks and monitoring compliance with site rules

Issuing Parking Charge Notices where appropriate

Gathering accurate photographic evidence

Delivering professional customer service when interacting with members of the public

Managing your own patrol route and workload throughout the day
This is an active outdoor role where no two days are the same.
What We're Looking For
To be successful, you'll need:

A full UK driving licence (with less than 6 points)

Access to your own vehicle

Willingness to obtain business insurance

Confidence working independently

To be motivated by targets
-
Good communication skills
-
A calm and professional approach dealing with possible conflict

A clear DBS due to the nature of the sites we patrol
Applicants must live within the NR1 - NR8 postcode areas.

Working Hours
This is a part-time position working 16 hours per week on a rota basis.

Shifts times will be between 6am - 10pm

Weekend working is required as part of the rota.
