Are client is seeking a skilled Pre Cast Technician to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the production and installation of precast components, ensuring quality standards are met while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction, masonry, or related trades to develop their skills within a dynamic industry setting.
Duties
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to assist in the casting and finishing of precast concrete elements
- Assist with tasks involved in formwork construction and reinforcement placement
- Conduct heavy lifting of precast units and materials safely, adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Read engineering drawings
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed at all times
Experience
- Proven experience in construction trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or similar fields is preferred
- Hands-on experience with, hand tools, power tools, and mechanical systems is highly desirable
- Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and safety procedures in industrial environments is essential
