The Role
As a Business Account Manager, you will own the commercial relationship with assigned customers from the moment a sale is completed. You will manage onboarding, coordinate pre‑install activities, maintain ongoing engagement, and maximise customer lifetime value through renewals, upgrades, and account growth.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Ownership
- Act as the primary commercial contact for assigned customers post‑sale
- Build trust, ensure retention, and maintain long‑term account stability
Client Onboarding & Pre‑Install
- Manage the transition from sale to installation
- Coordinate pre‑install requirements and support early‑life customer engagement
Service Contracts Renewal & Growth
- Lead renewal conversations and expand service agreements
- Protect and grow recurring revenue
Installed Lifecycle Management
- Identify upgrade, replacement, and life‑expired equipment opportunities
- Maximise customer lifetime value
Account Revenue Growth
- Identify and close upsell and cross‑sell opportunities
- Work to agreed commercial targets
Customer Experience & Feedback
- Conduct annual engagement visits, inspections, and feedback sessions
- Resolve commercial issues and share insights with internal teams
Referral & Re‑engagement
- Generate referrals from satisfied customers
- Re‑engage lapsed accounts to drive incremental growth
What We’re Looking For

- Comfortable discussing electromechanical equipment (training provided)
- Self‑driven, proactive, and commercially aware

Beneficial Experience (Not Essential)
- B2B Sales, Account Management, or Customer Success
- Manufacturing, Engineering, or Technical Sales background
- Telemarketing or customer communication experience
- Familiarity with iPads/iPhones, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Business Central, Word & Excel
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (required)
- 2+ years sales or account management experience (preferred)
- A‑Level or equivalent (preferred)
- Willingness to travel approx. 80% of the time
Pay, benefits & schedule
- Basic: £25,500–£27,500 DOE | Minimum OTE: £38,000–£40,000 (uncapped)
- Benefits: Company Vehicle & fuel card, pension, on‑site parking
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, day shift, no weekends
