We are seeking a dedicated Fork Lift Truck Driver and Warehouse Operative to join our team in Clevedon. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse activities, contributing to our commitment to excellence in logistics services.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload goods.
- Manage warehouse inventory using our warehouse management system.
- Assist with materials handling and ensure proper storage of products.
- Perform equipment inspections and coordinate repairs when necessary.
- Support shipping and receiving processes to meet delivery deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic repair skills.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic math skills for inventory management.
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving is preferred.
