An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced People System Support Administrator to join a well-established organisation on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day maintenance and optimisation of the organisation’s HR system (iTrent), acting as a subject matter expert and key point of contact for system-related queries.
The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring data accuracy, driving best practice, and delivering a high standard of customer service to internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the central HR systems queries mailbox, responding to and resolving issues within agreed service levels to deliver an excellent user experience
- Act as a super user for the iTrent system, providing technical support to internal stakeholders and liaising with external suppliers and internal IT teams where required
- Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and escalate software-related problems to the system provider where necessary
- Set up new user accounts for employees, including onboarding new starters and managing permissions and security access
- Generate scheduled and ad hoc reports using iTrent and reporting tools (e.g. Business Objects), ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Support data integrity through regular audits and data cleansing activities
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives relating to HR systems and processes
- Ensure system usage and processes remain compliant with GDPR and data protection requirements
Skills & Experience
Desirable:
- Previous experience working with HR/People systems (ideally iTrent)
- Experience working within a HR or People function
Essential:
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and identify root causes
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- A proactive, “can-do” attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
