Pay Rates: Start from £14.90ph through to £29.90ph depending on shift
About the Role
We are currently recruiting experienced and professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to support a range of leading transport, logistics, distribution and industrial clients across the North East.
We have a variety of assignments available to suit different experience levels and lifestyles, including:
- Day Shift Driving
- Night Shift Driving
- Tramping & Nights Out
- General Haulage
- ADR Deliveries
- Tipper Work
- Walking Floor Operations
- Multi-Drop Deliveries
- Steel & Industrial Loads
- Container Work
- RDC Deliveries
- Curtain-Sider Operations
- Ongoing & Ad-Hoc Cover
Whether you're looking for regular full-time work, weekend shifts, or flexible assignments to fit around other commitments, we have opportunities available.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles in accordance with all road transport legislation.
- Complete vehicle checks and defect reporting procedures.
- Ensure loads are secured and transported safely.
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork and electronic POD systems.
- Maintain compliance with Working Time Directive and Driver Hours regulations.
- Provide a professional and courteous service to customers and clients.
- Follow site-specific health and safety procedures.
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good knowledge of Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable and professional attitude

- ADR Qualification
- Tipper Experience
- Walking Floor Experience
- Steel Haulage Experience
- Tramping Experience
- Forklift or Moffett Experience
